'twas the best day ever!
anyway... yesterday was really fun! after our exams, i went to gateway with monica, roselle, jacyn, debbi and bea. after the our exceedingly hard cl exams (thanks sir giopre for making such an easy subject seem so hard), i met up with the one seven people. it was raining really hard so we kind of had a problem getting to bea's house... good thing tasha, our ever so helpful one seven classmate, said that she could drop us off at mcdo. it was kind of traffic so we got a chance to bond with tasha and her paper chewing brother. when we were in tasha's car, we talked about our ex-classmates who were coocoo. we got to mcdo after like 20 minutes. were all cost-cutting so we walked from mcdo to bea's house. when we got there, bea's yaya fed us really really yummy food! we all love bea's yaya! she's so nice and friendly! after eating we went up to bea's pretty room and changed clothes, made fun of stuff we saw on tv, reminisced and stuff.
okay... this is where our adventure really starts!
after a few minutes of hanging around, we decided to leave already. our initial plan was to walk to mcdo but, it was already raining like hell so we decided to ride a tricycle up to the mini stop place. tricycle 1 contained bea, jacyn and debbi while the later one, tricycle 2, contained me, roselle and monica. after meeting up and buying some stuff from mini stop, we walked to the train station.
at the train station, roselle totally thought that i was gonna be such a total idiot when it came to buying the ticket but i totally aced it! :p when we got to the platform, we saw our train go byebye. we had to wait for 7 minutes or something for the next one. roselle and debbi kept on telling us to act fast cos it'll be hard to get inside the train and stuff. so when we saw the flashing lights in the tunnel, we moved closer to the riding place. we didn't get to sit anywhere in the train cos there weren't any seats available. when we were in the train, we made fun of everything. from the fact that it was the first time for some of us to ride it to the train's route and the people whose houses were seen from where we were. after the anonas station, we went down already cos we were already in cubao. i thought we still had to cross and stuff but turns out that the train station's connected to gateway. that was so cool!
before we got to gateway bea, looked at the schedule of charlie and the chocolate factory via her phone. when we got to gateway, our game plan was set. we'd buy the tickets, have a few hours or minutes to go around and shop or whatever then go home cos debbi needed to be home early and it might be dangerous if go home late. on the way to buying our tickets, we saw a looooot of miriam people. after buying we went to timezone to recapture our youth. but the timezone there sucked so we just decided to go shopping. we went inside a bunch of places but bought nothing cos they were all boring. we saw kodak shop thing. we went inside to ask about the prices of their studio pictures. we decided to take the 2nd package. we inside the picture taking room and took our first picture. it was the supposedly serious looking picture.
i still have an issue with the second picture... the second picture was supposed to be the wacky one. they took 3 pictures and we were only supposed to choose one. monica, and debbi liked the first shot while bea and i wanted the second one. i wasn't ready for the first one so i totally look sucky there. since roselle was an undecided voter, we ended up taking the first one. :(
anyway... moving on... after the whole picture fiasco, we saw a bunch of old 2-5 people. we chatted with 'em a little then went inside people are people where we found absolutely nothing to buy. we only had a few minutes till the movie started so we headed to the food court to stock up on food. we bought food at wendy's. ooh! an uberly funny thing that happened at wendy's! there was a guy in front of me buying food (duh!) he left for a few seconds to get something i think. monica saw fries in front of me and without asking if it was mine or not, got 1. bea and i were laughing like hell. when i told her that she ate a complete stranger's fries, she went far far away to the counter where jacyn was and laughed her ass off.
the movie was totally cool! charlie was so cute and stuff! johnny depp was so funny! the chocolate factory was so yummy! i shan't forget my favorite! the hottest beings ever to be made! the oompa loompas! god, they're so HOT! specially when they were in disco mode! who knew that oompa loompas could rock? haha...
after the movie, we literally ran to the bathroom cos we had to release some fluid. after our dirty deed was done, we searched for something to purchase. we went to watsons where everyone bought something. we decided to call it a day cos it was already getting late. we bought our train tickets again and went to the platform. there were lots (i mean looooottttttttttttttttts!) of people in the platform. the train was so full that monica and jacyn had to enter through another door. at mini stop, we parted ways with debbi. the remaining five of us rode a tricycle again going to bea's place. at bea's place, we had to listen to jacyn and monica "play" some instruments. when we were already kind of tired, we went back to bea's pretty room. there, we we contemplating what movie to watch. we all decided on lisa kudrow's movie after remembering monica's ever so famous line "can't believe how cute i look". we didn't wanna burden bea's yaya with feeding us again so we called mcdo to have some stuff delivered. my bonding day with them ended when i bid adieu. :)
There are two tragedy's in life. one is to lose your heart's desire. The other is to gain it
FADE TO:
BROOKE: George Bernard Shaw once wrote;-
-'There are two tragedies in life: one is to lose your heart's desire,... the other is to gain it. Clearly, Shaw had his heart broken once or twice.
FADE TO:
NATHAN: As far as I'm concerned, Shaw was a punk! Coz you know what? Tragedies happen.
What're you gonna do, give up? Quit? No.
I realise now that when your heart breaks, you gotta fight like hell to make sure you're still alive.
Coz you are, and that pain you feel... it's life!
The confusion and fear... that's there to remind you that somewhere out there is something better. And that something is worth fighting for.
FADE TO:
HALEY: This year, I got everything I wanted and everything I wished for... but, in a way, I lost even more.
FADE TO:
LUCAS: Shaw was right: as we strain to grasp the things we desire,...
the things we think will make our lives better:... money, popularity, fame... we ignore what truly matters...-
-the simple things: like friendship, family, love.
The things we probably already had.
FADE TO:
MOUTH: So, Mr. Shaw thinks that getting your hearts desire is a tragedy? I say he's wrong.
I mean, clearly, Shaw never kissed Erica Marsh.
FADE TO:
PEYTON: Yeah, losing your heart's desire is tragic.
But gaining your heart’s desire...
It's all you can hope for.
This year, I wished for love.
To immerse myself in someone else and to wake a heart long afraid to feel.
My wish was granted.
And if having that is tragic... then give me tragedy.
Because, I wouldn't give it back for the world.
